Sophia started dancing at a small, local dance studio when she was four years old, and at the age of seven she was offered a scholarship to the Draper Center for Dance Education in Rochester, NY. She trained at Draper Center for nine years, with her recent graduation this year. With the Draper Center Youth Ensemble she has performed in "Little Red Riding Hood" and "Hyden." As a Draper student in collaboration with the Rochester City Ballet, she has performed in the productions of "The Nutcracker," "Cinderella," and "A Midsummer Night's Dream." Sophia has attended American Ballet Theatre's virtual summer intensive in 2021, The Rock School for Dance Education's summer intensive in 2023, and many years of the Draper Center for Dance Education's 4-week program. Sophia is really looking forward to working with Rochester City Ballet, and living out this dream she has had since she was four!
