Olivia Bevilacqua
Olivia Bevilacqua received her formal dance training in Rochester, NY at the Timothy M. Draper Center for Dance Education, where she performed with the Rochester City Ballet. She also previously attended the Graduate Program at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Olivia joined Ballet Pensacola in 2021 and she was promoted to Leading Artist in her second season. While at Ballet Pensacola for the last three seasons, Olivia has danced featured roles such as Dew Drop and Arabian Princess in The Nutcracker, Lilac Fairy and Emerald in Stephano Candreva’s Sleeping Beauty, the Wicked Witch in the Wizard of Oz, Madame Giry in Darren McIntyre’s The Phantom of the Opera and Hermia in Darren McIntyre’s A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Olivia was a contestant on season 13 and season 18 of So You Think You Can Dance where she was a finalist. At Youth America Grand Prix she was a recipient of the Grand Prix Award and performed in the Final Round at Lincoln Center in New York City. She won numerous awards at YAGP in both classical and contemporary categories. She also received the Legacy Award at Universal Ballet Competition. Olivia had had the opportunity to travel with Draper Center to Peru and perform at the International Ballet Festival de Trujillo. She is very excited to return to continue her professional career with Rochester City Ballet in the 2024/25 season!
