In 2017, Katherine Duffy moved to Rochester to join the Rochester City Ballet as a dancer. She also began working towards her degree with a focus in Nonprofit Management at the Rochester Institute of Technology. In 2019, she received a scholarship to attend the Napier Experience for women in leadership. While studying at the School of Individualized Study, she has been asked to compete for the Outstanding Undergraduate Scholar award. Katherine is set to graduate with high honors in the Spring of 2024. While working towards her degree Katherine has also worked for nonprofits such as Friends of Zanmi Beni and the Peruvian Project as a social media manager as well as hosting fundraising events. Katherine also spent a summer interning at Camp Helping Hands, a nonprofit organization in West Caldwell, NJ. Katherine is very excited to bring her experience and passion to the Rochester City Ballet which she considers her home.
