Chris Collins
Chris Collins is a Rochester, NY native. After high school, he immediately went to NYC to continue his training with the Joffrey Ballet School. While in NYC, he had the opportunity to work with artists such as Sonya Tayeh, Sidra Bell, Gelsey Kirkland, Daniel Albrecht, Glenn Edgerton, and many more. Furthering his education, Mr. Collins pursued his BFA at Point Park University.
Chris was fortunate to come back to his hometown to join the Rochester City Ballet where he danced as a Company member for 11 years. Throughout his professional career, Chris has had the fortune to guest with many companies such as Carolina Ballet Theatre, Springfield Ballet Company, and San Jose Ballet, to name a few. His favorite works that he’s performed include Terminus by Kate Skarpetowska, Adiemus and Rite of Spring by David Palmer, Serenade and Who Cares? by George Balanchine.
