Anna Turani was born and raised in Wheeling, WV. After receiving her early dance training at a local studio, Anna left home to pursue full time training with BalletMet for two seasons. From there, Anna joined Oklahoma City Ballet as a trainee for one season. Moving closer to home, she joined the Graduate Program at Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. Here she was given opportunities to dance with the company under Susan Jaffe in her premiere of Swan Lake. She has trained at various summer intensives throughout the years such as BalletMet, American Ballet Theatre, and Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre. She is so excited to begin her professional career with Rochester City Ballet!
